Grand Parade and South Mall
Like so much of the centre of Cork city, both the Grand Parade and South Mall were formed by the covering-over of channels of the Lee in the late eighteenth century. The Grand Parade is the widest street in Cork city while the South Mall has long been the financial centre of Cork.
