One of the highlights of 1982 was The World of Percy French, a one-man show by Brendan O'Dowda about songwriter French (YouTube video). Other highlights of 1982 were Quixote, based on the novel The ingenious gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra and on Shakespeare's Macbeth. The Christmas pantomime in the Everyman that year was Pinoccio with Stephen O'Brien in the title role.
