Other Information Cluichí Cleamhnais was the third Irish language production by Compántas Chorcaí at the Everyman Playhouse in 1979. The play focuses on a small town in rural Ireland and the mass exodus of its young population. With no marriages and a low birth rate the future looked bleak until a social committee was formed to counter the trend and to bring young people together in the town. Cluichí Cleamhnais played for five nights from 4 to 8 December 1979.
